American Airlines is first, with an 18.6% share. Southwest has a 17.5% share of domestic revenue passenger miles. Freight is a constant need in the economic supply chain, so Southwest is able to play its part in this industry. Though not the biggest part of Southwest Airlines, freight service plays a key role in diversifying Southwest’s assets, which gives them strength within the industry. Southwest has over 12,600 freight agents, and freight revenue accounted for $187 million in 2021. Like many other airlines, Southwest has made its rewards program a key pillar in its business model. The benefits help retain passengers and build up revenue. Southwest has been able to capitalize on its returning passengers by enticing them with its reward program. Southwest’s loyalty program accounted for $2.1 billion in revenue in 2021. Southwest has clearly made strides to recover from the Covid Pandemic and return its flights to normal. This occupancy rate is an increase from 52.4% in 2020 and nearly matches the 2019 levels of 83.5%. In 2021, Southwest’s average passenger load factor was 78.5%. Southwest Airlines Statistics by Passengers Since it is mainly a domestic airline, Southwest has to strongly consider the needs of its customers while competing with larger airline companies. Such a statistic is key in building customer satisfaction and retaining customers. This makes Southwest Airlines one of the most reliable and punctual airlines in the U.S. This can be attributed to the impact the Covid Pandemic had on the airline, like the rest of the industry.Ĩ1.2% of Southwest flights in 2021 were on time. This was a significant increase from the 897,540 flights in 2020, though the airline still hadn’t matched the 2019 levels when they had 1,367,727 flights. Their total flight amount for 2021 was 1,066,934. In 2021, Southwest Airlines averaged nearly 3,000 flights a day. Although primarily a domestic airline, Southwest is expanding southward. They are Mexico, Jamaica, Bahamas, Aruba, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Belize, Cuba, Cayman Islands, and Turks and Caicos. Southwest is also found in ten other countries. In the U.S., Southwest serves 42 states, as well as Washington D.C. Southwest Airlines flies in 11 different countries. A key part of Southwest’s growth has been its expansion into new markets. This gives customers many different options. Southwest Airlines Statistics by Flights and Destinationsįor a predominantly domestic-based airline, Southwest provides a large variety of locations. Southwest Airlines made $15.8 billion in revenue in 2021.įor further analysis, we broke down the data in the following ways:įlights and Destinations | Passengers | Company Stats | Trends Southwest Airlines operates 741 aircraft as of 2022. Southwest provided flights for 123.3 million passengers in 2021. ![]() There are several key figures any customer, employee, or investor should consider when thinking about Southwest Airlines. Since 1971, Southwest has grown from a small Texas-based airline to one of the preeminent players in the country. Southwest Airlines is one of the most popular domestic airlines in the United States.

When you have a game that’s primarily focused on the action and is known for that priority, it shouldn’t surprise anyone that the gunplay here is pretty straightforward in execution. ![]() The dearth of overacting in cutscenes while also throwing self-deprecation in the mix may not totally absolve it from trying harder, but saying “screw it” and just leaning in on the manliest charcuterie board they’ve set for themselves isn’t a bad option either. Croteam knew what they were going for with it and just went ahead and ran with how silly things are while also cracking jokes at their own expense. In a way, I’m alright with the paper-thin plot. Oftentimes it feels like everyone is in on the joke, but also going through the plot motions. Numerous action-packed cutscenes have him portrayed in classic action movie ridiculousness with a large serving of ham and cheese, but with a bit of a self-aware twinge. Serious Sam 4 absolutely falls under the latter description. While there are some that are able to pull off a complex plot that has some genuinely shocking moments that advance the story in a dynamic way, others are way more straightforward and use the plot as a way to get right to the ass kicking. Generally, I try to temper my expectations when it comes to a story in a modern FPS. In order to do so, you’re tasked with obtaining the Ark of the Covenant in Rome to subvert the invasion. If you consider DRM to be gating the multiplayer functionality behind an 3rd party service, with no option to connect to friends directly via IP address or LAN discovery to be a form of DRM. The app turns your computer or mobile device into an analytics program that allows you to identify what you need to do to optimize your network.įor example, with a WiFi analyzer app like Microsoft WiFi Analyzer, you can look at other channels on your network and identify if they are faster than your current channel. In a nutshell, a WiFi analyzer app breaks down information from access points on your network and places it into a single screen.Ī WiFi analyzer tool generates a visual display of the network data of your surrounding channels. This is where a WiFi analyzer app can be useful. This is made even more difficult if you don’t have the tools to diagnose the problem. Some days you’ll be able to browse without disconnecting, and others you’ll be in a battle just to stay online. The reason is that your WiFi signal strength is constantly changing due to external conditions. If you want more information, and you want it quickly and easily, the UI is just too cumbersome to be useful - I don't want to have to open a second window to scan for open ports I don't want to have to click on each item individual to see mac addresses, etc. When it comes to WiFi, signal fluctuation is incredibly common. If you're just doing a quick sweep for open IPs, or if you want to know what's on the network quick, this app will do it. Also, all relevant data (such as mac address, open ports, netBIOS name, etc) could be displayed in line with the detected IP address.Ģ)Search capability to help ID a device from a know identifier (in my case mac address) If you have many devices, it's cumbersome to have to scroll up and down to find something. (High ISO column in graphic above)ĭuring the amplification of the light information (signal), the noise is also amplified.īy increasing or decreasing ISO settings the photographer can effectively change how much overall scene luminance or signal is required to produce the optimal exposure. To increase the image brightness, without collecting more light from the scene, this small signal is amplified by increasing ISO. Without increasing ISO beyond base, this creates an image that is too dark. In the night sky scene above, there is a very minimum amount of light information, producing a very small signal. Learn the technical details in the next section. The following graphic is not meant to show exact values, only concepts, as discussed in the following section. This is why higher ISO images have more noise. When the light information is amplified by increasing ISO to higher values, the baseline inherent noise is also amplified. Although not the same, this could be compared to the small amount of noise heard on the radio at very low volumes. All images have a very small amount of inherent noise, even at base ISO.Scene lighting is also known as scene luminance. When there isn’t enough light information in the scene being photographed, such as the night sky example above, ISO is increased to amplify the light information in-camera, in turn, producing the same outcome as a scene with more lighting. The first image set was taken at base ISO. The following unedited RAW files show the results of Base ISO settings and High ISO Settings. Base ISO provides the optimal image quality with minimum noise and grain (ref example images below).īelow, you’ll learn why Base ISO isn’t always the preferred setting & when to increase or decrease ISO settings.Base ISO is used for approximately 90% of images. The lower the ISO value the less noise the image will exhibit. Professional model cameras often provide ISO values all the way down to 25. ![]() ISO is a function of signal amplification, not sensor sensitivity!Īll cameras have a standard or base ISO which is the value selected for normal operation.įor most cameras, this is ISO 100 or 250. When light information is amplified so is image noise.ISO determines the amplification this light information (signal) receives as it’s conveyed from the real world into the digital world. The term signal is used to denote the communication of light information into the digital world.F-stop and shutter speed determine how much light information is collected from the scene being photographed, via aperture diameter & length of exposure time. The camera sensor depends on shutter speed, f-stop & ISO to determine the overall exposure (brightness) of the image. The camera sensor, also known as an image sensor, is an electronic device that collects light information from the scene being photographed. Here’s An Overview of How ISO Actually Works: The camera sensor always maintains the same sensitivity. ISO does not change the light sensitivity of the camera sensor, contrary to what many believe. ![]() ![]() ![]() It was William and Elena Prouz's son and heir, yet another William Prous (remember the ancient Prouz slogan - "whereof most were called William") who came into possession of the Manor of Waye Barton. The de Ponte's owned the Cloth Mills at Chagford Bridge - the bridge, which led up to Gidleigh and Throwleigh, was in existence as early as 1224, so not was still fairly new at the time that William Prouz and Elena set up homie in Chagford, which must have been around the early 1270's or 80s. (History of Chagford)Ībout 1300, Sir William le Prouz, the last of our name to hold Gidleigh Castle, bequeathed several of his "wheat fields, lands, and holdings" in Chagford to his youngest brother, William Prouz (see Deed of Gift on page 49) William Prouz, born circa 1250, married Elena, daughter of Geoffrey de Ponte of Cjhagford. The churchwarden's accounts are full of the names of the many members of the family who held offices as church wardens, contributed to many community projects and were baptized, wed and finally buried in Chagford Church. The CHAGFORD branch of the family, however, flourished and remained the oldest and most stable of Chagford's nobility until the 17th century. By the 14th century, the Gidleigh Branch of the family had, as we have seen, gone into the female line, the manor and castle of Gidleigh passing to the de Moelys family through Alice le Prouz's marriage to Roger de Moelys. "The medieval years in this remote part of Devon were indeed dominated by by the family ofPROUZ of Gidleigh, as well as by the other great medieval families of Bonville, Webbery and Gorges, to which the Prouz's were related. In regard to Chagford and Waye Barton and the family connection I have some info. I would like to work with you to answer some of the questions that are being raised. I am Ran Prouse and have been working on the Prowse/Prouse families in England and the U.S. They do seem connected to this family so I'm not sure how to represent that - I'm certain they are wrong, but I'm uncertain where they should go, which is a little different than 'uncertain'. It appears to me that the linked profile should have no heirs, and the children should have no parents unless there's some documentation for their ancestry. I found a different source that called it Way Barton. The Prowse family probably is connected - Magna Britannia says 'A branch of the ancient family of Prous or Prouz had for many generations a seat in the parish called Way." - a different family owned the manor of Chagford. Later the last name spelling is Prowse according to Weis for a John Prowse of Chagford whose wife was a da. Mary de Vernon so perhaps Prouz-19 needs different parents who are connected to Peter although Peter only had one child, Alice (Alix), according to FMG. Peter (Pierre) specifically is G.1.d under their Normandy lands as Seigneurs de Preaux. Julian and a Peter le Prouz of Changford, Devon m. Weiss has a references to a William Le Prouz of Chagford, Devon havinga da. I found a source that said the senior line died out in the reign of Edward II and his aunt Alice is documented as inheritting his father's manors based on a IPM cited in Weiss which implies that he predesceased his father and neither had heirs. ![]() Packages will be released soon so register your interest to be the first to know.I had noticed the DNA link documents a direct male line to some very early ancestors including some surety barons and illustrious men so I was checking it out and this particular "Prouz" seems to be incorrect to me.
